Kinda forgot to update. But here's the big news: I don't get my POP after all. Why you ask? Due to certain circumstances, a select few of us (not quite a few really) have been chosen to temporarily post out to the various divisions. Good or bad? Depends really. It's good because now I get to go home everyday and rest in my own bed. Kinda bad because I don't get to participate alongside my squadmates in the POP. Oh well, just enjoy being out while I can.

But shift work sucks really. 12 hr shifts. Man, my eyes can barely stay open. I swear I'm gonna get a PSP sometime soon. It's gonna be my best friend to keep me awake. Alongside my cigarettes of course. I smoke more now because of work. Damn.

Well, short post here because I've run out of stuff to say. But an update should be expected. I thought I had more things to type about but hey, my mind's a blank right now. Ciao.

Been an extremely long time since I posted. Well, what can I say? Was busy with the A levels ... and then national service came a calling. Didn't have the time. Or rather, I was just too drained to post shit here.

So why am I posting now? Geez ... I have no idea why either. Maybe it's because I'm bored? Perhaps it's due to me getting used to the fact that national service takes up a lot of one's time and there's nothing else to do but suck it up? Hmm, nah, it's definitely because I'm bored outta my wits.

So. Let's see what's happened lately. Oh yeah, I finished all my tests that police national service required me to sit for. Good news for my basic police law test. I scored 93 percent. Bad news too. I didn't score the highest for it. My squadmate beat me to it, 95 percent. What's the big deal you might ask? Well, I was aiming for the 'Best in Police Studies' award, and a huge condition to net that was to get highest for the stupid law test.

Honestly, I'm disappointed that now my chances of getting that award are gone. Not that I have anything against the bugger who beat me to it. He put in loads more effort than I did. All I did was flip through the pages of my books and slept in my barracks. Or rather, I began studying for around 15 minutes and then fell asleep right beside those books. I like to tell my squadmates that I download those shit into my head when I'm asleep, haha.

Oh well, life goes on. I won't let something so minor get me down.

So what now after the tests? Well my dear, it's POP rehearsals now up till 7th may. POP stands for Passing Out Parade by the way. It's basically when we graduate. My feet hurt so bad from standing still and bringing down my heels down onto the ground hard. And the worst is yet to come. The instructors have assured us trainees that whatever we've done so far is just a taste of the hard work we'll have to put in to ensure an impressive POP.

Oh well. My loved ones will be watching me during the POP. I wanna do them proud and give them a good show. It's all worth it I think.

Oh, and I'm so bored in police camp now that there's nothing to do. My handphone's my companion now. Sorry to those people whom I'm always bombarding with smses. You guys are my only hope at retaining my sanity in this sea of boredom.

Hmm ... I think I'm ranting now. Good, goes to show that I'm getting into the motion of my previous posts, haha. This is it for now. More rantings coming up next week hopefully.
